Aug 1: A Farm to Fork (Dinner) Workshop - The Soil & Your Gut
You’re invited to join us this summer for our Farm to Fork Workshop; a fully immersive moment in our garden.
This workshop is intended to give you a momentary respite from the every day and to experience how the garden meets our physical, spiritual and mental health needs.
The evening will begin with a behind-the-scenes tour of our market gardens. During the tour, we’ll discuss the spiritual connections we’ve fostered in the garden and how they influence the way we grow.
Next, we’ll sit down to a small 3-course vegetarian meal, inspired by what’s in season on the Urban Farm. Each meal highlights freshly harvested ingredients from the farm.
Finally, we’ll explore the soil-gut connection and discover how to foster diverse microbiomes in both your gut and your garden.

Main: Wood Fire Sourdough Pizza (Contains NO meat, but does contain Dairy)
House-made sourdough pizza dough, with house-made farm-grown tomato sauce, topped with seasonal vegetables from the garden and local cheese.
Dessert: Puff Pastry Fruit Tart with Lemon Curd Whipped Cream (Contains NO meat, but does contain Dairy)
Light puff pastry topped with seasonal, local berries.
